Our Faith in Jesus Christ

We believe we are all children of our Heavenly Father, and He loves us. We believe Jesus Christ is His literal Son: the only begotten of the Father. Because of the Fall of Adam, mankind was separated from the presence of the Father. According to the plan of the Father, Jesus Christ atoned for the sins of Adam and redeemed mankind from the fall. He took upon Himself the sins of the world; He suffered and atoned for our sins; after which, He was crucified and died on the cross. We also believe that on the third day, He overcame death through His resurrection and ascension into the presence of the Father. Because of Jesus Christ, all mankind will be resurrected and will stand before Him to be judged. We will all be judged according to the desires of our hearts, our faithfulness and obedience in this life, and our good works. Jesus Christ is merciful and loving, but He is also a God of justice. His atonement has paid the demands of justice. For our part, we must exercise Faith in Him, Repent honestly of our sins, be Baptized by an authorized servant of the Lord Jesus Christ, and continue in a life of righteousness. |

| Because of wickedness in the world (the Apostacy), the Gospel had been taken from the earth shortly after the early Christian era. The earth fell into the Dark Ages when "the heavens were sealed." However, we believe the fullness of the gospel has since been restored to the earth. Heavenly messengers have returned to the earth and restored Holy Priesthood authority/powers and blessings. We believe Jesus Christ Himself sits at the head of His Church, and He is alive and well. He is our Creator, our Savior and our Redeemer. We invite everyone to investigate these great truths.
