| Wil is living in Santiago, Chile, where he's been teaching English as a Foreign Language (EFL). We hear from him about once a month and he seems to love Chile. I thinks he's even learning their language. Recently, Wil wrote to say his "...Spanish is defiantly improving." As we move into the Winter months here in the Northern Hemisphere, it is becoming Summer time in Chile. Wil says, "when it's Summer in the States, it's ...chilly in Chile." In addition to teaching English, Wil has been doing some acting. He's been in two commercials: one for McDonalds and the other for a card company, like Hallmark. He's also acting in an independent movie. So, he says he's feeling good. The problem is he said he's not making much money, just enough to live on in Chile. In additional to all his other activities, Wil is studying culinary arts in Chile. He's attending a culinary arts school in Santiago and hopes to complete his studies in late 2004. Maybe he'll be returning to the United States at that time to begin making the big bucks as a chef at a fine restaurant. Regardless, we all miss him and we're looking forward to seeing him again. For now, we wish him well in his adventure in South America. | |||||||
